    Overview

    As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting and making repairs to all CNC & EDM machinery, plant support equipment and other necessary equipment to ensure efficient and effective results for a high quality finished product. .

    Responsibilities

    • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds To locate causes of trouble.
    • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
    • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
    • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
    • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
    • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
    • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
    • Lubricates and cleans parts.
    • Starts devices to test their performance.
    • Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
    • Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
    • Repairs electrical equipment.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Good written and verbal communication skills. Effective in team environment and interpersonal skills
    • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to demonstrate proficiency by performance or certificate in the following skill sets: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics and Hydraulics
    • Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all systems including pneumatics and hydraulics.
    • Mechanical knowledge of control panels, pumps & gears
    • Electrical wiring of 120V, 220V, and 480V 3 Phase
    • Knowledge of tools such as power tools, hand tools
    • Electrical troubleshooting skills a plus
    • Knowledge of jib cranes, welding, fabricating is helpful
    • CNC experience is a plus
    • Must be able to communicate in English (written & verbal).
    • Will need to pass a physical and drug test exam. 
    • Available for overtime when needed
