    Overview

    We are looking for a 2nd or 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team.The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance functions within the facility and serves as a resource person for maintaining preventive maintenance programs relating to machinery, equipment and systems throughout the facility. This person works directly with the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to execute work orders; and, is also responsible for performing on-going audits relating to equipment and safety.

    Qualifications

    • Three or more years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or similar environment. OR • Certificate in industrial electrical maintenance
    • High school diploma or general equivalency
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Follows all safety guidelines including utilization of proper PPE.
    • Follows proper operating procedures and maintains proper records in accordance within plant management system.
    • Demonstrates positive relations and teamwork as established in the IMI Way and Leadership Blueprint within the organization
    • Ability to perform basic facility repairs (drywall, painting, patches, minor electrical repairs, etc.)
    • Familiarity with OSHA standards and regulations; and, experience performing safety audits and reviews preferred.
    • Ability to work with hand and power tools.
    • Knowledge of equipment maintenance protocols, autonomous and preventative maintenance processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; and, perform tasks independently.
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) preferred.
    • OSHA certification preferred
    • Electrical certification preferred
