    Overview

     

    Working within a fast paced enviornment, under direct supervision, perform any combination tasks in an assembly cell to produce small finished products. Work as a member of a team to assemble finished products by using hand tools, pneumatic screwdrivers, drill presses and other small tools  Will be trained in a variety of different work stations as production needs require or shift from one station to another.  Work may be performed sitting or standing and requires use of hands, arms, eyes and feet during assembly process.  Must be able to read and write English.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Bolts, clips, nails, rivets, screws, solders, or otherwise fastens component parts of assembly together, using hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.
    • Loads and unloads previously setup machines, such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line.
    • Reads process charts, work orders, blueprints, or other specifications to determine assembly sequence, machine and tooling requirements, measurements, and tolerances.
    • Inspects, tests, and verifies accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards, using measuring or testing equipment, or by visual examination.

    Qualifications

     

    Education/Experience

    • High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent preferred
    • One year experience in similar industry a plus
