  • Overview


    Develops and executes marketing communications strategies for IMI Precision Engineering US both internally and externally.   Conveys Global Marketing’s corporate messaging to all sites.  Works under general management guidance and has total responsibility for the larger or more complex projects requiring advanced design and analysis.  Guides development and implementation of sales support materials and services for marketing communications and public relations


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    1. Manage marketing communication functions including advertising, press releases, e-marketing, direct mail, literature and brochures, tradeshows and events, and customer promotions using internal and external suppliers. Ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and branding across marketing activities in line with corporate identity.
    2. Plan, develop, and direct large or important marketing projects or a number of small projects with many complex features.
    3. Support the sector initiatives with marketing campaigns specific to the goals of the sector and conveying the value proposition.
    4. Work closely with the company’s Product Marketing Department to support product launches, research, and other activities.
    5. Collaborate with direct & indirect sales and sector key account managers to develop marketing plans to support sales initiatives, trade shows and publications.
    6. Drive initiatives using company CRM system and other sales and marketing tools to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness within the company.
    7. Manage the company’s web presence and all related Internet marketing activities.
    8. Develop brand, marketing and/or sector strategies, and data-driven ROI strategies.
    9. Oversee the development of an effective reporting system to track marketing activities and to mine the marketing data and measure business impact.
    10. Manage vendors in all aspects of developing and creating marketing campaigns and manage the marketing budget for publications, trade shows, etc.
    11. Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of Norgren US digital and print publications. Build employee awareness of customer needs and views through internal communications and provide training and direction to other professional and support staff.
    12. May be required to travel up to 20% of the time
    13. Other duties as assigned.





    Education and Experience

    1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field and 5+ years marketing experience, preferably with industrial products or multi-channel market, required.
    2. Must have 2+ years of experience with marketing communications, brand management and managing trade shows and corporate events.


    Skills and Competencies

    1. Outstanding creativity, initiative, written and verbal communications skills required.
    2. Must have the ability to execute many projects at once, develop E-Marketing communication strategies, and recognize new marketing or PR opportunities and act on them.


    Computers and Technology

    1. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

    This position will be responsible for monitoring and directing the work for one of more employees.  This position will assist in training employees on proper procedures and methods for performing job duties and responsibilities.
